American Express Hotel Membership Rewards Offer Challenge

Some credit card online portals have an offers page that gives you cash back for specific purchases. I have seen offers on the Capital One site (remember the Samuel L. Jackson liking fondue commercial), Chase Sapphire as well as American Express.

I recently signed up for the American Express Platinum card and have noticed several hotel offers.

Many of the offers are 20% off a stay (either $50, $60, or $100 off room rate and room charges). Here are current (as of June 2022) American Express Membership offers. I thought it would be fun to see how many of the deals I can use before their expiration.

Hilton Hotels: spend $250 or more, get $50 back. Expires 6/30/2022.

Marriott Bonvoy: spend $250 or more, get $50 back. Expires 6/30/2022.

Best Western: spend $100 or more, get $20 back. Expires 6/30/2022.

Marriott Bonvoy (Luxury Brands): spend $500 or more, get $100 back. Expires 6/30/2022.

The Leading Hotels of the World: spend $500 or more, get $100 back. Expires 7/15/2022.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts: spend $750 or more, get $150 back. Expires at 7/17/2022.

The LINE Hotels: spend $300 or more, get $60 back. Expires 7/31/22.

Waldorf Astoria, Conrad & LXR: spend $500 or more, get $100 back. Expires 7/31/2022.
